What our clients say about us
London Borough of Tower Hamlets
"London Borough of Tower Hamlets appointed KehoeWalsh Architects/URBAN R+D to carry out a field study of the north east of the borough. This generated 176 potential sites, of which 123 were in the council’s ownership and 32 were estimated to deliver more than 20 new homes.
Having investigated the potential of each site identified, URBAN R+D collated these into an easily accessible site database. In additional to site information, this showed the initial opportunities and constraints for each site. The field study was completed within the 8-week timetable agreed at the outset and the Council has been able to take a number of these sites forward into its pipeline programme.
The database was very user-friendly and easy to navigate. ...the study identified a significant number of sites with development potential, not just for new homes, but also for small specialist housing schemes, self-build and alternative open space provision which will unblock other opportunities for policy-compliant development in the borough.
The team were good to work with, responsive and enthusiastic. It has been a pleasure to work with them and hope to commission further work in the near future."

MB McNamara Construction Ltd
MB McNamara Construction appointed KehoeWalsh Architects to developed information for the submission of a pre-application on an old industrial site located in Dublin. Comprising of 29 apartments and two retail units the scheme sought to increase the number of homes for affordable rent in the area. Following the submission of the Cork Road scheme, the Practice was brought on board again to investigate the capacity of another central city located site.
We found the practice engaging and enthusiastic to deliver high-quality design and innovative ideas in addressing complex and constrained sites. They showed a strong ability to deliver information within tight deadlines and were proactive in problem-solving and communication. We look forward to continuing our work with the practice.

Phil & Jens House
We really enjoyed working with KehoeWalsh Architects on our full house renovation and extension. We selected them due to their design ideas when we initially met. The practice consistently found creative solutions to difficult issues. We have received a high level of detail in the drawings and the drawings considered a lot more than we would have expected. We have really appreciated the level of thought and consideration that has been present throughout the process. The practice has delivered a truly bespoke home which stands out from other designs, through both with its design intent and detailing.
Its been an enjoyable partnership and we would work with KehoeWalsh Architects again on further projects.

When asked to make changes to drawings they provided a clear timescale for providing the revisions and consistently delivered on time.
The practice’s approach to design was to listen to our requirements and interpret them sensitively. We were always pleased with the ideas provided to us.

“From their work, it is clear we have a new emerging methodology it is worth our time to explore and test – one that seeks to identify opportunities, with an ambition to contribute positively to how London’s creation of new homes in our existing neighbourhoods. Given the miles travelled, the time and effort required and the fact that they were fully employed in architectural jobs, their commitment and endeavour is extraordinary, and the results speak for themselves.”
